KEY FACTS

Kentucky is the birthplace of Bourbon, with a rich tradition and history that dates back more than 200 years. It’s also one of Kentucky’s signature industries, pouring hundreds of millions of dollars into the Bluegrass economy.

In 2012, the Kentucky Distillers’ Association released the second study highlighting Bourbon’s significant economic and tourism impact in the Commonwealth.
